Well I had, but never have picked one up. So I decided to give it a whirl. It can’t be much different than other squash I know like acorn and sweet dumpling. Well I was in for a surprise! It really is like spaghetti, like it’s name denotes. It was kinda fun scooping the long strands out. I served some sauteed chicken and veggies over the spaghetti. It was a nice change from traditional pasta and a good way to get the veggies in. Yummy!

The girls and I went with some friends to Rutledge-Wilson Farm today. The farm is run by the Springfield-Greene County Park Board. There are animals, hay stacks, a play area that looks like a barn and silo, and lots of activities all throughout the year. And best yet, it’s FREE!
Mackenzie decided to adorn her little sister with stickers the other day and then join in the fun herself. Aubi of course just sat there and enjoyed the fun!
Chris: “How many words do you know now Mackenzie?”
Mackenzie: “Umm…2,000″
We have a brilliant daughter!
Please pray for the Jett family in the Springfield area. Scott Jett was killed in a motorcycle accident last month leaving his wife Cori and four children, with one on the way. We did not know the family personally but they were a part of the AG community. My heart aches for Cori as she is in such a difficult situation. Lord may you strengthen her through this and draw near to her as only You can do.
Aubi is getting so big and I feel like it is just passing me by unnoticed. She’s 6 months old now but I feel like just yesterday she was born.
