i a story on cnn.com about this guy who spends his own money and brings homemade ahot meals to people less fortunate in new york.  i’m blogging it because i think its a great example of what someone can do when they are moved with compassion for people around them.

this guy is moved with compassion to affect the lives of the people around him and he decided to do something about it.  if the church would be spurred into action to affect the lives of people right now, right around us, in this “economic crisis” think what could happen.  when the church (and by the church i mean the people who say they are part of the church) goes on the aggressive and seeks to meet the needs of the people around it and genuinely love people, we can change the world.

college students dream about impacting the world.  our impact is simply what we make it.  seize the moment and spread Christ’s love.  the early church grew because no one could shut off its radical love for people.  what would happen if we did the same now?  does this guy inspire you?
