We have just returned from a 3 day retreat at Rock Haven Bible Camp in Hasty, Arkansas. It was a 2 hour drive into the beautiful Ozarks of Arkansas. We were able to take 12 Campus Life students and several more international students from International Life. It was great how God arranged us to join groups for this as that has been a goal of the ministry for this year.

Andy Estrella’s (the director now) friend from Central Bible College was able to come and lead the services. The students connected well with him and were challenged by his messages. Students were able to pray for each other and it was a great opportunity to connect with the internationals. There was also lots of time to hang out and relax and even a “Shaving Cream Olympics”! I was disappointed not to be able to participate due to the girls napping, but I’m told it was lots of fun!

We had the privilege of sharing the parenting duty with another family, the Lwalis. They lead International Life. Severin and Kristina have Imani (2) and Joshua (4 months). So the other little girl you see with Mackenzie and Aubrynn is Imani. They had a blast playing with each other all day. It was a nice break for us moms too to be able to have playmates.

The retreat was a great way for the whole family to get to know the students. We had lots of fun hanging out with them!
